What this is
EveryManSkills is a set of short guides, self-checks and checklists for practical skills. These guides are general information, not professional, medical, legal or financial advice. In an emergency call your local emergency number, 911 in the US. The first aid pages are refreshers, not training or certification: take a certified class. Every riskier skill lists when to stop and call a professional, and you agree to follow that line. The skills passport records what you marked in your browser; it is not a qualification.
The content
The guides, quizzes, drawings and checklists are EveryManSkills's own work, written from general guidance that each page names by a generic description with the date it was last checked. Guidance changes and situations differ. If anything here disagrees with a professional who can see your situation, with the maker's instructions for your product, or with current official guidance, follow them. EveryManSkills is not affiliated with, endorsed by or produced by any government agency, health body, safety council, publisher, school or brand.
Cost
Every feature is free to use, with no account. No paid plan is offered at present; if one is added, this page will describe it.
No account, and your progress
There is nothing to sign up for. Anything the site remembers is stored by your own browser on your own device, which means it can be cleared by you at any time, cannot be recovered by us, and does not follow you to another device unless you export and import it.
Acceptable use
Use the site for learning, including printing checklists for yourself, your family or a class you teach. Do not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, and do not present its guides or drawings as your own work.
Warranty and liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, EveryManSkills is not liable for any loss or injury arising from the use of the site or from reliance on anything on it. You are responsible for judging whether a task is safe for you to do, and for calling a professional when a page says to. In an emergency, call your local emergency number, 911 in the US.

Questions, or a report that a step, a number or an answer is wrong, go to the support address in the footer. A guide that disagrees with current official guidance is a defect and gets fixed.
